Uche Edochie, son of veteran actor Pete Edochie has revealed that he spent 6million to treat Covid-19 after it almost damaged his lungs. Uche said he spent weeks at the gbagada centre in Lagos recently. Narrating his ordeal, he said when he first caught the virus, he thought it was malaria until he was rushed to hospital. Uche says his family spent N6m to save his life and he also knows of another person that spent N17m for his own treatment. Court Orders DSS to pay Igboho N20bn for unlawful invasion
An Oyo State High Court has ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to pay N20 billion to Sunday Igboho for unlawfully invading his Ibadan residence on July 1 The judge, Justice Ladiran Akintola, on Friday, awarded the sum as exemplary and aggravated damages against the secret service in the fundamental human rights suit filed by Igboho.Giving the ruling on Friday, the court declared the invasion on Igboho’s home as illegal.
