We will suspend agitation if referendum on Biafra is held – IPOB to FG
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has disclosed that it will suspend its agitation if the federal government decides to hold a referendum on the secession of the south-east region. There have been several calls for restructuring in a bid to douse the tension. Reacting to this, IPOB in a statement on Monday, said it has no concern with restructuring, but total “restoration of the Biafra state”. The Federal Government has said that no case of the highly infectious Omicron variant of the COVID-19 has been recorded in Nigeria. EFCC arrests 60 at yahoo boys awards night
About 60 suspected Internet fraudsters have been arrested by operatives of the Lagos Command of the EFCC. The arrest took place during an awards ceremony at the Conference Hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Investigations by the EFCC revealed that the event tagged “Peer Youths Awards”, was organized to reward high-level internet fraudsters.
