Six months after abduction, 30 Federal Govt College Yauri students and one other teacher regain their freedom
Thirty students and a teacher of Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State, have been released from captivity. The freed teacher and students arrived in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State capital, on Saturday night January 8. 120 of the students, mostly from classes SS1 and SS2 were abducted by suspected bandits in June 2021. By October 21, thirty of those abducted were released. Police arrest housewife who supplies her daughters, other women to bandits for sex in Kaduna forest (video)
The Intelligence Response Team (IRT), a special police unit fighting kidnapping, has arrested a housewife who allegedly supplies women to bandits at Galadimawa forest in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
