Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, travelled today to Egypt on a 3-day visit to understudy the country’s “power sector, education, planning and finance sectors” and African Action Progress’ presidential candidate and Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore had something to say about it. Taking to his Twitter handle, Sowore tackled Obi, stating that the presidential election is in 9 months yet Obi wants to go “learn something from Egypt in 3 days?” He further said that this is his problem with “unprepared candidates.”

Yobe APC senatorial primary winner refuses to step down for Senate President Ahmad Lawan after he contested and lost the Presidential ticket at the APC primaries
Bashir Sheriff Machina, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yobe North Senatorial District has refused to step down for the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan. Speaking in an interview with Daily Trust, Machina said he contested the party’s senatorial ticket and the delegates overwhelmingly voted for him. A woman has been arrested after she broke her nephew’s head and sent him into the street because he misplaced N100. The woman reportedly sent the boy on an errand on Sunday, June 12, and he misplaced N100. When he returned without the money, she allegedly used a Coca-Cola bottle to break his head.
