EFCC will soon come after some APC aspirants after presidential primary – Tunde Bakare
Pastor Tunde Bakare of The Citadel Global Community Church has claimed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission will go after some of the aspirants that contested in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary.The cleric made these remarks at the party’s special convention on Tuesday night.“Many of these contestants, time will tell. The EFCC will soon be after them,” Bakare said. Bakare also accused some of the contestants of “bringing delegates with delegates”. The cleric who vowed not to step down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressed confidence that he will become the 16th President of Nigeria.

Isa Baba Buji, one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates from Buji Local Government Area (LGA) of Jigawa State on Tuesday slumped and died in Abuja. All Progressives Congress( APC) governors have cut down the list of proposed presidential aspirants to three. The Governors had initially proposed a five-man list of aspirants to President Muhammadu Buhari to consider for consensus. Amongst the names they earlier suggested to President Buhari were Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Rotimi Amaechi; Governor Kayode Fayemi and Governor Dave Umahi.
