Yobe APC senatorial primary winner refuses to step down for Senate President Ahmad Lawan after he contested and lost the Presidential ticket at the APC primaries
Bashir Sheriff Machina, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yobe North Senatorial District has refused to step down for the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan. Speaking in an interview with Daily Trust, Machina said he contested the party’s senatorial ticket and the delegates overwhelmingly voted for him. The publication reported that since Lawan lost out in the ruling party’s presidential primary, he’s been making moves to reclaim the Yobe North ticket. Woman arrested after she broke her little nephew’s head because he misplaced N100
A woman has been arrested after she broke her nephew’s head and sent him into the street because he misplaced N100. The woman reportedly sent the boy on an errand on Sunday, June 12, and he misplaced N100. When he returned without the money, she allegedly used a Coca-Cola bottle to break his head. She then left him on the street bleeding profusely. It wasn’t until concerned passersby intervened that the woman cleaned the boy’s head with a cloth. A Nigerian man identified as Yebei Opreye, has lamented on Facebook after his car was stolen in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state barely one month after he bought it. “I carry my money buy motor, e never even reach better 1 month owners don thief am for yenagoa.
