Amotekun: No state is authorized to buy automatic weapon – Presidency
The presidency has reacted to the controversy surrounding buying of arms for state-owned security outfit. It noted that no state is authorized to buy automatic weapon This was according to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu. US court jails suspended aide of Governor Dapo Abiodun for five years for Identity fraud & stealing $2.4million
Abidemi Rufai, the suspended aide of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has been sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for fraud by a US court. Rufai had attempted to use stolen identities to steal nearly $2.4 million from the United States government, including approximately $500,000 in pandemic-related unemployment benefits.
