Hisbah confiscates 5,800 bottles of beer in Kano
The Kano State Hisbah Board has confiscated 5,800 bottles of beer This was according to a Statement by the Commander-General of the Hisbah Board, Harun Ibn-Sina,on Monday, October 24, 2022, while inspecting the impounded vehicles at the Hisbah office. The board’s spokesman, Lawan Fagge, stated that three vehicles were impounded on Sunday; a Mercedes Benz car, which had 1,800 bottles of beer in it; a Sienna minibus, conveying 3,000 bottles of beer and a Volkswagen Golf car conveying 1,000 bottles of beer.
