Gunmen suspected to be assassins have killed Mrs Victoria Chintex, the Labour Party Women Leader in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. FG approves 14-Day paternity leave for Civil Servants
The Federal Government has approved the commencement of a 14-working-day paternity leave for federal civil servants. Folasade Yemi-Esan, head of the Civil Service of the Federation, disclosed this on Monday in a circular with ref no: HCSF/SPSO/ODD/NCE/RR/650309/3, dated 25th November, 2022. She said that request for such leave shall be accompanied by the Expected Date of Delivery’s report of the officer’s wife or evidence of approval of the adoption of the child by the relevant government bodies. Native Doctor kills client while testing bulletproof charm in Enugu
A 23-year-old native doctor, Odoh Emmanuel has been arrested by men of the Enugu State police command. Odoh was said to have shot and killed his client, Onunze Benedict while testing the gunshot protection charm he prepared for the deceased. Breaking: IGP sentenced to three month in prison for disobeying court order
A Federal High court ruling has in Tuesday sentenced the Inspector-General of Police Usman Baba to three months in prison for disobeying a court order. Justice Olajuwon who delivered the judgement said the order followed a suit filed by a former police officer, Patrick Okoli who claimed he was unlawfully and compulsorily retired from the Nigeria Police Force.
