IPOB, Yoruba Nation agitators and failed politicians working to disrupt 2023 polls – IGP
The Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Usman Baba has alleged that separatist groups and failed politicians are working to disrupt the 2023 general election. He made the allegation when he appeared before the house of representatives ad hoc committee investigating attacks on the facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday, December 16. Man kills his friend over N300 electricity bill in Warri
A man identified as Godstime Oke has allegedly killed his friend and roommate, Gaga Allia over N300 electricity bill in Okumagba layout, Warri, Delta State. The incident occurred at about 10 pm, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in their one-room apartment. According to reports, the duo got into a fight which led to Oke allegedly stabbing the deceased in the neck with a broken bottle. A 49-year-old man, Ganiyu Shina has been caught while bathing with blood at a river in Kotopo, Abeokuta, Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State.
