Prince Harry, Meghan Markle donate to flood victims in Nigeria
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle Foundation has given an unspecified amount to organizations supporting flood victims in Nigeria. This was made known in a press release by sky news, a Spotify representative confirmed the Archewell Foundation had made donations to both UNICEF and Save the Children. The spokesperson said the donations, of an undisclosed amount, would “help provide relief following devastating floods wreaking havoc in Nigeria”. Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the Special Assistant to the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, on Strategic Communication, has reacted to the photo of a mother carrying her son’s locker. The photo which has gone viral on social media, elicited varying reactions with many describing it as evidence of a ‘mother’s love’ for her child. A former Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Dr. Dan Shere has been abducted. He is among several other commuters kidnapped along the Enugu-Ugwuogo Nike-Nsukka Road on Thursday. Court cancels bid to transfer Nnamdi Kanu’s case to Abuja, orders FG to return him to Kenya
A Federal High court in Umuahia has cancelled the Nigerian Government’s bid to transfer the suit of the extraordinary rendition of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, from Umuahia to Abuja.
