Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has commended a young man named Yusuf Sulaiman Sumaila for his honesty in returning the salary funds received through his deceased father’s account back to the state government. According to a statement released by Abdullahi Ibrahim, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Digital Media, Sumaila’s father passed away in October 2022, but the state government inadvertently continued to disburse his salary until August 2023. FG increases price of electricity meters across the country
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has granted approval for an upward adjustment in the prices of prepaid electricity meters within the country.
