    Man arrested for stealing 13 ATM cards in Adamawa

    A man named Abubakar Tasi’u Tanimu, 31 was apprehended by operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command for possession of 13 ATM cards believed to be stolen. According to a press statement released on Tuesday, the arrest occurred last Friday as police attached to the Department of State Intelligence conducted surveillance patrol around Jambutu Motor Park, Jimeta, Yola. The statement, signed by police spokesman SP Suleiman Nguroje, revealed that the ATM cards, issued by various banks to legitimate owners, were allegedly stolen from a market in Mayo-Belwa, a local government area in southern Adamawa State. He is now in custody.
