Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Kenya dies at 73
Former Nigerian ambassador to Kenya, Ambassador Yusuf Yunusa, aged 73, passed away at Yobe University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu, after a brief illness. Governor Mai Mala Buni, represented by SSG Baba Malam Wali, attended the funeral prayers led by Chief Imam Shehu Goni Abba. Governor Buni praised the late ambassador as an elder statesman, dedicated civil servant, and technocrat, wishing him eternal peace. Born in 1950, Ambassador Yunusa is survived by four wives, 21 children, numerous grandchildren, and brothers, including Engineer Mustapha Yunusa Maihaja, former DG of NEMA.
