NLC rejects new N54,000 offer, insists on N615,000 minimum wage
The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have rejected the Federal Government’s proposal of a new minimum wage of N54,000. During a meeting with Organized Labour in Abuja, the Federal Government raised its offer from the previous N48,000 to N54,000. As of press time, the meeting is still ongoing.
