    Two Islamic clerics have been arrested in Kaduna State for conducting prayers in spite of a lockdown order by the State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.  On Thursday, the state government invoked the quarantine act of 1926 and the Kaduna state public health law, to impose a curfew in the state, as one of the measures of curbing the spread of coronavirus. According to a statement by the Governor, Samuel Ortom, its index case is a lady Susan Okpe, who recently returned from the UK and is presently undergoing treatment.     Obasanjo donates his Hilltop residence as isolation center for coronavirus

    Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has donated his former residence at the Presidential Hilltop, Abeokuta, Ogun State as an isolation center for victims of the dreaded Coronavirus disease. Obasanjo’s media assistant Kehinde Akinyemi who confirmed the development, said the 32-room apartment located off the Presidential Boulevard in Oke Sari, Abeokuta has been handed over to the Ogun State government for immediate takeover.
