Coronavirus: 6 week old Baby dies in Connecticut
A 6 week old baby has been killed by the novel Coronavirus in Connecticut, a state in the US. The sad news was announced by the Governor of Connecticut, Ned Lamont on his Twitter page which according to him is the first paediatric fatality in the state linked to covid-19. A Nigerian doctor identified as Dzuana Vanen Philip has reportedly died of Lassa fever, few months to the end of his housemanship. Dr Dzuana got admitted into Benue State University after several years of applying for Medicine and Surgery at other universities. Coronavirus: Nigeria’s Case hits 173
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday confirmed twenty three new cases of coronavirus in the country. This was disclosed via a tweet on their verified Twitter page “Twenty-three new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos, 7 in the FCT, 5 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Bauchi State “As at 08:00 pm 1st April there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Depressed Woman rescued from committing suicide in Osun River.
A seemingly depressed middle aged woman known as Kafayat Alake has been rescued from jumping into the Osun river in an attempt to commit suicide. FG reduces price of Fuel to N123.5 per liter
The Federal Government has announced a further reduction in fuel price following the initial reduction in from N140 to N125 per liter. The new price is now at N123.5 per litre. The new development was announced by Bashir Ahmed, Presidential aide on new media which according to him will take effect from the 1st of April. Gov Makinde contracted COVID 19 from known people in Abuja — Oyo state Chief Press Secretary
The Chief Press Secretary to Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr Taiwo Adisa, has explained that his boss contracted Coronavirus from ‘known people’ in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
