Abba Kyari: Presidency reacts as FFK calls to express his condolence.
The presidency has commended former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode for calling in to express his condolence over the death of Buhari’s chief of staff, Abba Kyari. According to a tweet by presidential aide, Femi Adesina via his Twitter handle he stated that Fani-Kayode’s action showed he is human despite being anti-buhari. His tweet: “Fani-Kayode phones in to condole with Presidency on passage of Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. A great lesson for those who rejoice in evil. “Fani-Kayode is morbidly anti-Buhari, but human enough to express his condolence.”

Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari buried in Abuja
The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Abba Kyari, who died on Friday, April the 17th, has now been buried. His remains were brought in an ambulance to the Defence House in Abuja, where family members, as well as his colleagues, gathered to pay their last respect. 51 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria
Nigeria has recorded 51 new cases of the novel coronavirus, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). In a tweet on Friday, April 17, the NCDC reported thirty-two cases in Lagos, six in Kano, five in Kwara, two each in the Federal Capital Territory and Oyo, and one each in Ogun and Ekiti. This brings the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria to 493, discharged cases 159, and Deaths 17.

The Abia State Ministry of Health has declared one Vincent Prosper, a suspected COVID-19 patient wanted. He died of a protracted illness at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (AE-FUTHA), Ebonyi. The sad news was confirmed by his daughter Mrs Chinwe Eze Onwosi on her Facebook handle on Friday.
