Coronavirus: Ganduje relaxes lockdown for Residents to Shop for Ramadan
Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has given an order to relax the lockdown in the State from 6am to 12pm for Thursday alone to enable residents shop for the Ramadan celebration despite the upsurge of Covid-19 cases in the state. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has reacted to the condition stipulated by the government to pay Lecturers their salaries that have been withheld for two months. Buhari orders Payment of withheld Lecturers Salaries
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate payment of two months withheld salaries of university lecturers who failed to enroll on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS). This was according to a statement announced by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige which was signed by his new media aide, Emmanuel Nzomiwu.
