    Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has ordered a curfew in Abia State following the recently confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the state.  The  6pm – 6am curfew which will take off from Sunday April 26, will last for 7 days and is expected to help in thorough contact tracing with special emphasis on the three local government areas of Ukwa West, Ikwuano and Umuahia North.     Two Police officers, Ikuesan Taiwo and Abass Ibrahim who were caught on camera beating a woman in Osun State have been dismissed. The victim, Tola Azeez had stepped out of her house during the lockdown to reportedly buy some drugs for a sick person when she was accosted and flogged by the officers. The Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed called for a full investigation after seeing the video. The investigations have been concluded and the police officers have been dismissed.
