Court orders Atiku, Saraki to pay N5m damages to Trader for using her Picture on a Campaign Billboard
A Federal high Court in Lagos has ordered PDP 2019 Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his campaign director, Bukola Saraki to pay the sum of N5m damages to a Lagos-based trader, Amudat Adeleke for unauthorized use of her picture on a campaign Billboard. Adeleke had filed the suit against them saying her image was displayed in strategic places in Lagos such as Onikan, Costain, Apongbon, Airport Road, WAEC in Yaba, Illupeju, and Ikorodu. The false belief that toxic methanol cures Coronavirus has killed over 700 people in Iran. The national coroner’s authority in the country said that alcohol poisoning killed 728 Iranians between February 20 and April 7. Last year there were only 66 deaths from alcohol poisoning, according to the report. Governor David Umahi has apologized for banning two journalists from entering Ebonyi state government house and other government facilities, for life.
