Nigeria must be restructured to avoid possible break-up – Pastor Adeboye
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has called for restructuring of Nigeria to forestall a possible breakup and agitation across the country. Police rescue day-old-baby abandoned inside gutter in Awka
A day old baby who was abandoned inside a gutter by the mother at Abuja Estates behind NSCDC office in Awka, Anambra state was rescued by the police in the early hours of today, Saturday, October 3. Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a retired Air Commodore in the Nigerian Air Force in Kaduna, Ado Adamu Sha’iskawa, One Salisu Lawal Kerau, who confirmed the incident on Saturday moning, October 3, on Facebook, said the former Air Force chief was abducted from his residence by the gunmen.

Auchi Polytechnic loses Rector
The Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Dr Momodu Jimah, is dead. According to reports, he died at about 7pm on Friday night, October 2. Confirming his passing to newsmen, the Public Relations Officer of Auchi Polytechnic, Mustapha Oshiobugie, said the deceased rector died after a brief illness. Covid-19: US president, Donald Trump hospitalized
US President, Donald Trump has been transported to Walter Reed medical centre after developing mild symptoms from the deadly coronavirus infection. This was made known in a statement released by the White House on Friday, the Sun reports. According to the statement, the president will spend “the next few days” at the military hospital in Maryland. “Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” the statement read.
