Beirut Explosion: Lebanese PM steps down
Lebanon’s prime minister, Hassan Diab, and the country’s entire government have resigned following the devastating Beirut explosion which has killed at least 160 people and left more than 6,000 injured. There was mild drama at the Oyo State isolation centre on Saturday, August 8, when a recovered COVID-19 patient refused to go home with her father, choosing instead to go with a soldier she met at the isolation centre.
