Lagos LG chairman, Oke dies of Coronavirus
Babatunde Oke, the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State is dead. He passed away Wednesday morning. The chairman was said to have died from coronavirus complications. Oke had been ill but suffered a relapse not long after he recovered. The deceased was a second term council chairman and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

US donates over 200 Ventilators to Nigeria
The United States has donated over 200 ventilators to the Nigerian Government on Tuesday. This is in fulfillment of the promise made by the United States President, Donald Trump during a telephone conversation with his Nigerian counterpart, President Muhammadu Buhari in April 2020. The medical equipment was handed over to the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, by the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Leonard, at a ceremony in Abuja this morning.

Chief of Army Staff, Major-General Tukur Buratai has expressed optimism in the fight against terrorist attacks in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria. The Chief of Army Staff shared that Boko Haram terrorists have been expelled from most of the North-Eastern states except Borno. Peacemaker gets stabbed to death trying to settle rival lovers dispute
Two rival lovers identified as Eniola Ayodele and Kayode Babashola have been arrested alongside their girlfriend Barakat Wasiu, following the death of a peacemaker identified as Muhammed Obadimeji who was stabbed while trying to seperate the men fighting over Barakat.
