Lagos LG chairman, Oke dies of Coronavirus
Babatunde Oke, the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State is dead. He passed away Wednesday morning. The chairman was said to have died from coronavirus complications. Oke had been ill but suffered a relapse not long after he recovered. The deceased was a second term council chairman and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

US donates over 200 Ventilators to Nigeria
The United States has donated over 200 ventilators to the Nigerian Government on Tuesday. This is in fulfillment of the promise made by the United States President, Donald Trump during a telephone conversation with his Nigerian counterpart, President Muhammadu Buhari in April 2020. Chief of Army Staff, Major-General Tukur Buratai has expressed optimism in the fight against terrorist attacks in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria. Peacemaker gets stabbed to death trying to settle rival lovers dispute
