The Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, has warned that Nigeria may slide into a second recession in four years if a very strong third-quarter 2020 economic performance is not achieved. Fake lawyer bags three years imprisonment with hard labour in Ogun (photo)
A fake lawyer, Adedeji Ebenezer Oluwagbenga, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment with hard labor and without the option of fine in Ogun state. Disclosing this to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Adedeji, who was arrested on August 5 at Itori Chief Magistrate Court where he appeared for a client, was convicted on Wednesday, August 12. NBC fines Radio Station N5M for hate speech
The Nigerian broadcasting commission, NBC has fined Nigeria Info 99.3FM N5 million over an interview with Obadiah Mailafia, former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Allow responsible People carry Guns and weapons – Ortom
Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has called on the federal government to allow responsible Nigerians to carry guns and other weapons. Ortom made this call while presenting a paper on Tuesday during a virtual meeting convened by the Centre for Values in Leadership, in collaboration with Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
