Nigerian ‘drug peddler’ on expired visa arrested in India with 250 gms cocaine
An alleged Nigerian drug peddler with expired visa was arrested in Delhi, India on Sunday, September 20, and 250 grams of cocaine valued at 20 lakh seized from his possession. The yet-to-be-named suspect was arrested from the New Delhi Railway Station by the Railway Unit of the Delhi Police. According to a police officer, Harendra Singh, the suspect had been ”visiting Delhi from Bengaluru to supply drugs in rave parties.” A fake American drivers licence was also found in his possession. Police have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act) and 14 Foreigners Act.

20-year-old student killed by her boyfriend who was paid N2m to use her for ritual in Lagos
Toluwalase Kembi said to be a 20-year-old Business Administration student of the Federal polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State has been confirmed dead after being killed by her a man she was seeing in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state. A woman said to be the wife of a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Egor local government area (LGA) of Edo state, has been beaten up some youth. Missing 14-year-old girl found raped and murdered in Ogun
14-year-old Faith Ifeoluwa Ojewoye who was missing has been found, raped and murdered. Ifeoluwa was sent to refill a cooking gas cylinder on the fateful day. She returned home, dropped the cylinder and left the house, never to return. The teen, who was last seen in Agbeloba, Oriyanrin, in Abeokuta, Ogun state, was reported missing on Wednesday, September 16. Uzodinma signs new law that allows him arrest and detain residents at his pleasure
Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma, has signed into law the Imo State Administration Of Criminal Justice Law No 2 of 2020 (ISACJL, 2020), which empowers him to arrest and detain any resident of the state for as long as he wishes. According to this law, any person detained on the orders of Uzodinma can only be released when he grants a license to the said individual.
