Nigerian cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has opened up about contemplating suicide amidst bribery allegations of N15 million. The controversy began when activist and social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording allegedly of Bobrisky offering N15 million to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The bribe was purportedly to have money laundering charges dropped and to avoid serving jail time at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos. Deji Adeyanju, the legal representative for VeryDarkMan, has refuted claims that the social activist defamed renowned lawyer Femi Falana.
