Real Madrid have completed the marquee signing of 19-year-old Ivory Coast international Yan Diomandรฉ from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig. The blockbuster deal is worth up to โฌ140 million (ยฃ120 million), making the talented teenager one of the most expensive acquisitions in the club’s history.
Real Madrid agreed to a package that could surpass the fee previously paid to Borussia Dortmund for Jude Bellingham in 2023. Diomandรฉ has committed his long-term future to Los Blancos by signing a seven-year contract running until June 30, 2033, after Real Madrid successfully secured the winger amid interest from other top European clubs.
Diomandรฉ arrives in the Spanish capital following a stellar 2025โ26 campaign in Germany where he was named the Bundesliga Young Player of the Season, netting 12 goals and providing 8 assists.
