“Poverty Is No Longer an Excuse” — Education Minister Speaks on School Access
Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmad, has said no Nigerian child should be denied education because of financial hardship.
Speaking during an inspection of schools under the AGILE programme in Kano, Ahmad said the Tinubu administration has introduced reforms aimed at making education more accessible.
“Poverty is no more an excuse not to go to school,” she said.
She highlighted the Nigeria Education Loan Fund as a key intervention helping students with tuition, transportation, and study materials.
