
We will overcome insecurity – Senate President Akpabio urges Nigerians to live in peace
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance, and mutual respect, regardless of religion or ethnicity.
In his Easter message, delivered through his media aide, he urged Christians to reflect on the values of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
“As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the values of love, peace, and unity,” he said.
Akpabio also encouraged citizens to work together for national progress, assuring that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges through collective effort, understanding, and prayers.
He expressed sympathy to victims of violence, particularly those affected by recent attacks in Jos, and commended security agencies for their ongoing efforts to address insecurity.
