APC Lacks Capacity to Tackle Insecurity – David Mark

Former Senate President David Mark has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) lacks the capacity to address Nigeria’s worsening insecurity effectively.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, Mark expressed concern over the continued wave of violence, noting that despite government assurances, insecurity has persisted and displaced many communities.

“The truth must be told. The current administration has not demonstrated the required capacity to tackle insecurity decisively,” he said.

He stressed that protecting lives and property is the primary duty of government, warning that failure to do so erodes public trust and threatens national stability.
