Only abroad will take you from tenant to landlord – Nigerian Man Abroad Urges Youths to Leave Country
A Nigerian man who recently relocated to a Western country has triggered mixed reactions after publicly urging Nigerians to leave the country if they get the chance.
In a video shared online, the man was seen speaking against a snow-filled backdrop while encouraging others to relocate. He claimed that moving abroad can transform lives, saying it can take someone “from tenant to landlord” and permanently change a family’s history.
According to him, living abroad offers opportunities that are difficult to attain in Nigeria, urging young people to seize any chance they get to leave the country.
However, the video sparked backlash from some Nigerians online, who questioned the long-term impact of mass migration and asked what would become of the country if all able-bodied youths chose to leave.
