
Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, Dies at 71
Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, has passed away at the age of 71.
He reportedly died at a hospital in Saudi Arabia, just two weeks before his 72nd birthday on December 31. His death was confirmed on Tuesday in Abuja by the Nigerian Association of Muslim Law Students (NAMLAS).
In a condolence statement, NAMLAS described his passing as a monumental loss to the Nigerian judiciary, the legal profession, the Muslim community, and the nation at large, offering prayers for his soul.
