Poverty is not our milestone, we will come out of it – Tinubu assures Nigerians
President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that the nation will surmount its current economic challenges. Speaking on Wednesday at the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) Conference in Abuja, he emphasized that poverty will not define Nigeria’s future.
Tinubu acknowledged that his administration’s reforms have been challenging but stressed they are intended to build a strong and sustainable economy. He also highlighted the crucial role of all stakeholders, particularly the media, in driving national progress.
“We may be poor; poverty is not going to be our milestone. We are going to come out of it,” he said.
