See marriage as a business, don’t marry for love – Nigerian man tells those from poor backgrounds
A Nigerian man has sparked widespread discussion online after advising people from humble backgrounds to be more strategic when choosing a life partner. He argued that love alone cannot sustain a marriage when both partners are still struggling to find their footing financially.
In his words, “two blind people cannot lead each other.” He explained that if someone still trying to rise financially marries another person also battling to survive, frustration is almost inevitable. According to him, once poverty enters a marriage, even love begins to waver.
