“Coming from someone whose father was indicted for money laundering in the US” – Seyi Law Fires Back at Atiku’s Son for calling Tinubu a drug baron
Comedian Seyi Law has slammed Shehu Abubakar, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, for calling President Bola Tinubu a “drug baron.”
Shehu had made the remark while reacting to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent statement describing Nigeria as a “disgraced country” amid allegations of Christian persecution. Defending Trump’s comment, Shehu wrote on X that Nigerians shouldn’t be offended since they “announced a drug baron as president.”
In response, Seyi Law, a staunch Tinubu supporter, accused Shehu of hypocrisy, referencing past corruption allegations against his father.
“This is coming from someone whose father was called a thief by his principal and indicted as a money launderer in the U.S.,” Seyi Law wrote. “Someone whose father deleted his handler’s tweet about the extra-judicial killing of Deborah. Na really wa.”
