You wan use people suffering buy political appointment – Charly Boy lambasts Reno Omokri

Nigerian musician and activist Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has criticized former presidential aide Reno Omokri for his recent remarks denying claims of genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

The controversy follows renewed debates over alleged mass killings of Christians by extremists, claims dismissed by the presidency and other officials as exaggerated. While Omokri also rejected the genocide narrative, an old tweet recently resurfaced in which he accused former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration of permitting such attacks.

Reacting via his Facebook page, Charly Boy accused Omokri of double standards and alleged that he was using national issues to curry favour with President Bola Tinubu’s government.

He wrote in pidgin English, “When I see how far some people fit go, just to wear fake respectability on top rotten shit character, na so dia shame dey shame me.???,.,

“You see, when person come from gutter, no be the gutter be the problem na when the person carry the gutter enter him spirit na dia wahala start.

“All this gra-gra activism na where belle face you face. You wan use people’s suffering buy political appointment?

“You dey twist stories of Christian killings, one minute you cry “genocide,”next minute you say “no genocide” all because your stomach don move to another camp.

“Reno, you be proof say education no equal integrity. Big grammar no fit cover small mind and big shit.

“See ehn, hypocrisy get smell and your own don reach everybody nose. Fada no go keep quiet. Because silence na how fake men become role models”.
