I am a Golden minister, specially loved by God – Wike

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has described himself as a “golden minister,” saying his political journey reflects divine favour.

Speaking on Thursday during the flag-off of the Collector Road CN2 project linking Yemi Osinbajo Way to Wole Soyinka Way in Katampe, Abuja, Wike noted that he served as Rivers State governor during its 50th anniversary and is now FCT Minister as Abuja prepares for its golden jubilee next February.

“Some of us are specially loved by God,” he said, adding humorously that while others may occupy his seat someday, “it doesn’t mean you’re as loved.”

He urged officials and contractors to ensure timely completion of ongoing projects ahead of the FCT’s 50th anniversary celebration.
