‘We had a medical emergency’ – 2Face Idibia reacts to alleged arrest in London
Legendary Nigerian singer, 2Face Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has dismissed reports claiming he was arrested in London.
Earlier reports alleged that the music star was taken into custody on Thursday following a heated altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru. The speculation gained traction after 2Baba failed to perform at his scheduled London tour that same day.
Reacting on Friday morning, the singer described the report of his arrest as false, urging fans to disregard the viral claims.
The news had sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many expressing concern over his absence from the London show.
Speaking in a video on his Instagram video, the musician said “We had a medical emergency”.
“We had a medical emergency. It was tough to the show organizers, and everybody that came out, we go rebook, we go come out with meaning to happen.
“And please, if you know sabi something, make una no talk I beg”, he said.
