If you’re a second wife, you are nothing but a witch – Rita Edochie

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has taken a strong stance against women who choose to become second wives. In a recent post, she described them as greedy and wicked, insisting that such relationships are built on another woman’s pain.

She wrote, “If you’re a second wife, you are nothing but a witch. You are not innocent, you are not special, you are just greedy. Do not call it love, it is wickedness. Do not call it destiny, it is covetousness”.

Edochie added that a second wife is not a queen but a usurper, warning that the same tears caused to the first wife will eventually return to the second.

She concluded that there is no glory in being a second wife, only shame and curses, and tied her message to a sermon on “taking what does not belong to you.”
