Nigeria is only for Hausa and Yoruba, stop including Igbos, only Yorubas and Hausas have been ruling since 1999 – Isaac Fayose

Businessman Isaac Fayose has dismissed the notion that Nigeria equally belongs to the three major tribe, Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba, calling it a false narrative. He argued that since the return of democracy in 1999, only the Hausa and Yoruba have had access to the presidency and vice presidency, while the Igbo have been consistently sidelined.

Fayose added that despite calls for inclusion, Igbos are often told to “go back to their village,” and any agitation for Biafra is labeled negatively. Citing the 2023 elections, he noted that Peter Obi, an Igbo candidate who gained massive support, was rigged out of victory.
