Creating 12 states today in Nigeria is madness – rapper N6 states
Popular on-air personality and rapper, Nnamdi Nwabasili, also known as N6, has voiced his strong disapproval regarding the ongoing calls for the creation of additional states in Nigeria.
This comes after it was reported that the House of Representatives had received proposals for the creation of 31 new states.
Furthermore, an unconfirmed report has been making the rounds on social media that ‘the Senate has approved 12 new states.
On Friday, N6 took to his X handle to react, stating that “Creating 12 new states in today’s Nigeria is madness, 12 new governors and deputy governors, 12 new government house construction projects. 12 new white elephant airport projects. Lord have mercy.”
