Anambra PDP Governorship candidate, Ezenwafor escapes assasination.
On Friday night, Jude Ezenwafor, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate for the upcoming Anambra State election, survived an assassination attempt in Abuja.
Ezenwafor was reportedly shot by hoodlums around Wuse 2 and is currently hospitalized in a private facility in Abuja, awaiting surgery to remove bullets from his body.
“I’m currently in the hospital. The doctors are making efforts to operate me so that they can pull out bullets from my body,” He stated.
Ezenwafor told journalists early Saturday morning, describing the incident as a near death situation.
Two other individuals who were with him at the time of the attack also sustained gunshot wounds.
