Be patient with Tinubu – Governor Abiodun tells Nigerians
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has appealed to Nigerians for patience with the Tinubu administration.
Speaking on Friday during Eid prayers at the Lantoro praying ground in Abeokuta, Abiodun, represented by Senator Shuaib Salisu, acknowledged the current economic hardship but assured that the president’s reforms are beginning to yield positive results. He expressed optimism that better days are ahead for the country.
He said, “Let me first acknowledge that things are a bit challenging for Nigerians as a whole. The challenges are a result of difficult but,definitely must take decisions to reform our economy.
“ The present leader of the country had two options when he came on board, he could have continued to go on the side of the palliative as it had been done before but, the problem will linger.
“ He decided to make a bold decision. This decision would necessarily occasion for immediate pains but over time, and I can tell you that indications are looking up north. The prices of items are still high, but you would have noticed that there’s a significant drop in the prices of some”.
