
Alleged N1.38bn fraud: Jude Okoye granted N100m bail
Jude Okoye, former manager of the defunct music group P-Square, has been granted bail in the sum of N100 million.
The bail was granted on Monday, March 3, 2025, ahead of his trial for alleged money laundering involving N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
Okoye was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and remanded in Ikoyi Prison on Friday.
As part of his bail conditions, he is required to provide two sureties, each with landed properties worth N100 million in Lagos. Additionally, he is prohibited from leaving the country without approval.
His trial is scheduled to begin on April 14, 2025.
