Igbo man claims he’s fighting for Biafra, killing his own people – Yul Edochie
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has condemned the rising violence in southeastern Nigeria.
Expressing his concern in a Facebook post on Friday, Edochie criticized those who claim to be fighting for Biafra but end up harming their own people.
He emphasized that there is no justification for attacking others, regardless of differences in ideology.
According to Edochie, only a coward resorts to killing his own people to prove a point, whereas a truly brave person would go to any length to protect them.
“An Igbo man says he’s fighting for Biafra. Then he starts killing his own people. So who then are you fighting for?
“There can never be any justification for harming your own people, wether they agree with your ideology or not.
“Only a coward kills his people to make a point. A courageous man protects his people at all cost. ONYE GBULU NWANNE YA ABURO ODOGWU!,” he wrote.
