An X user has ignited a debate by sharing his perspective on the role of children in marriages. He described children as “visitors” in a marriage, emphasizing that they will eventually leave home to pursue their own paths, leaving their parents to live alone.

He wrote; “Your children are “visitors” in your marriage. Love, raise and care for them whilst they’re still visiting. They’ll eventually leave you. Only you, and your wife will remain. If you marry the wrong wife, she too will abandon you, & leave with your children. End.”
