“If anything happens to me, you know who to hold” Food critic Opeyemi Famakin accuses Cubana Chief Priest of threatening him over review he made about his restaurant

Food critic Opeyemi Famakin has shared a direct message (DM) he received from Cubana Chief Priest following his review of the Chief Priest’s restaurant in Imo State.

After visiting the restaurant, Opeyemi posted a video highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. Cubana Chief Priest publicly commented on the post, saying, “Thank you for stopping by, Foodie. Stay blessed G.”

However, Opeyemi later received a private message from Cubana Chief Priest, which he interpreted as a threat. The message, allegedly from the Chief Priest, read, “Karma is real and you must pay for whatsoever you sow in life. I don’t fight low lives; I leave them to Karma.”

The message also mentioned that the business reviewed is owned by the Chief Priest’s six-year-old son, further adding to the tension.

As a result, Opeyemi expressed feeling unsafe in Imo State and announced he was leaving. He also informed Nigerians that if anything happens to him, they know who to hold accountable.
