“Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers?” – Paul Okoye asks Peter, Jude
Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy of P-Square, has questioned why he and his brothers can’t come together as a family even if they are no longer in business together.
The duo’s internal conflict became public when Paul accused his twin brother, Peter, in an interview of petitioning the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have him arrested.
In response, Peter denied the accusations in an open letter on social media, explaining that his focus was on uncovering the truth about a secret company, Northside Music, allegedly owned by their elder brother, Jude Okoye, and his wife, Ifeoma.
Their elder brother, Jude, later addressed the situation in an Instagram live session on Saturday, denying Peter’s allegations that he diverted P-Square’s royalties worth millions of dollars into a private account.
However, speaking during an Instagram live session on Monday, August 19, 2024, Rudeboy said, “Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?
“Like I said, I don’t want to talk much. I don’t used to talk before. It’s so unfortunate.”
