Imo guber: INEC presents Certificate of Return to Uzodinma

On Friday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) awarded Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State a Certificate of Return. The presentation took place in Owerri, Imo State, and was conducted by the Resident Electoral Commissioner of INEC in the state.

After securing the highest number of votes in Saturday’s off-cycle governorship election, INEC declared Uzodinma as the winner. Uzodinma prevailed over Athan Achonu from the Labour Party and Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party.
